Benitez Subject: BLS Transition System and LVDS cables testing and labeling Hello Everybody, After a very intense few weeks of work, I have finished testing and labeling the components and spares for the BLS Transition Sytem and the LVDS cables as well. As a result of this work I have done, we now have a complete BLS Transition System and LVDS cables ready to install. One BLS Transition system SET is comprise of: (Needed 80) 1 Patch Panel Card (PPC) 2 Pleated Folied Cables (PFC) 1 ADF Transition Card (ATC) There are 3 LVDS cables per each ADF card (Needed 240) The numbers summarizing the testing are: Needed Tested and passed Spares = Needed - Tested Failed PPC 80 93 13 6 PFC 160 185 25 2 ATC 80 89 9 6 LVDS 244 256 16 + NEVIS 7 Note that "Failed" is not part of "Tested", also there are some more LVDS cables available at NEVIS.
